Announcement of the most important companies and personalities
In addition to the traditional categories, this year's awards also recognized companies that made a significant contribution during the pandemic - such as the Heroes of the Fight Against Coronavirus. The first in a series of companies to be so honoured, our CEO Zdeněk Reibl accepted the award on stage for RESPECT for supporting 12 hospitals with an amount exceeding CZK 1.5 million. CZK and for our other imaginative CSR activities in the past year. The President of the Republic, Mr. Miloš Zeman, also expressed his gratitude to all the awarded companies in a personal letter. The awards were presented by Libor Chrobok, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GECO, which was the general partner of the evening.
The highlight of the evening was the Centenary Award for actress Jiřina Bohdalová, as one of the most important personalities of the cultural and social life of the Czech Republic. The ageless and charming Mrs. Bohdalová was a very distinguished guest of the evening.
At the beginning of the evening, the guests were welcomed and greeted by the founder father and the man who has been at the head of this important institution for 27 years, the chairman of the CZECH TOP 100 association, Mr. Jan Struž.
The moderator and smiling guide of the event was Barbora Černošková. The beautiful melodies of the saxophone performed by Felix Slováček and the singing of Jan Smigmator were pleasing to the ear and soul.
In the main category of the three most important companies in the Czech economy, announced according to their sales for the past year, Škoda Auto came first, Energy and Industrial Holding second and CEZ Group third. The awards were received from the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade and Minister of Transport Mr. Karel Havlíček and from the Chairman of the CZECH TOP 100 Mr. Jan Struž.
The special Dun & Bradstreet Czech Stability Award, awarded according to the evaluation of the long-term financial stability of companies on the Czech market, was given to SWS, a.s.
The TPA Gentleman Company Award was presented to KOMA MODULAR s.r.o.
Tomasz Wiatrak, CEO of ORLEN Unipetrol, received the award for the commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050. And at the same time, ORLEN Unipetrol awarded global manufacturer TOYOTA for its initiative in the field of emission-free transport for the launch of TOYOTA MIRAI.
Vlastimil Dvořák, CEO and owner of Ambassador Group, received the Management Excellence Award for personalities who have long demonstrated management professionalism, management focus and stable execution of strategic objectives.
